AFC 2010 Quarter Finals Draw

The draw for the AFC Champions League 2010 quarter-finals & semi-finals have been conducted.

With four Korea Republic teams in the last eight, there was bound to be an all-Korean quarter-final. And so it was with Seongnam Ilhwa slated to meet Suwon Bluewings in QF4.

The first team drawn out of the pot for QF1 was Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, who will take on Qatar’s first-time quarter-finalists Al Gharafa.

Iranian side Zob Ahan, another debutant in the last eight, was next drawn in QF2, where they will face defending champions Pohang Steelers.

Saudi’s other side, Al Shabab, will meet the 2006 champions from Korea Republic, Jeonbuk Motors, in QF3.

In the semi-final draw, the winners of QF3 will meet QF4 winners and QF2 winners take on QF1 winners.

The quarter-final first-leg matches will be played on 15 September, 2010 with the return legs on 22 Sepember, 2010.The semi-finals first legs are on October 5 and 6 and the second legs are on October 20.

QF1: Al Hilal (KSA) vs Al Gharafa (QAT), Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium, Riyadh

QF2: Zoba Ahan (IRN) vs Pohang Steelers (KOR), Foolad Shar Stadium, Esfahan

QF3: Jeonbuk Motors (KOR) vs Al Shabab (KSA), Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Jeonju

QF4: Seongnam Ilhwa (KOR) vs Suwon Bluewings (KOR), Tancheon Sports Complex, Seongnam

Second leg, 22/09/10

QF1: Gharafa vs Hilal, Al Gharafa Sports Club Stadium, Doha

QF2: Pohang vs Zob Ahan, Pohang Steelyard Stadium, Pohang

QF3: Shabab vs Jeonbuk, King Fahad International Stadium, Riyadh

QF4: Suwon vs Seongnam, Suwon World Cup Stadium, Suwon
