After independence of our country Pakhtakor began its new history. Especially after 2002 Pakhtakor began to work under new, modern methods. From 2002 till this time our club won 8 times championship and 9 times Uzbekistan Cup. In 2007 year‘s season Pakhtakor did not lose in any game. And also we beat Kizilkum at their home by 11:0, which is new record.

• We have to add that Pakhtakor is the base of Uzbekistan national team. Now players like Ignatiy Nesterov, Asror Alikulov, Islom Inomov, Ilhom Suyunov, Anzur Ismoilov, Odil Ahmedov, Alexander Geynrikh are also players of Uzbekistan national team. In different years Mirjalol Kasimov, Valery Kechinov, Pavel Bugalo, Andrei Akopyants, Alexander Geynrikh were found the best player of Uzbekistan while they were playing in Pakhtakor.
