ACL 2009 champions Pohang Steelers have signed Brazilian striker Mota and wingback Ahn Tae-eun ahead of the 2010 AFC Champions League.

Mota has scored 48 goals in 119 matches in the K-League during stints with Chunnam Dragons and Seongnam Ilhwa.

“I am happy to be back in the K-League,” he was quoted as saying. “I always wanted to come back and am delighted it is with Pohang. I will do my best to help the team win more titles.”

Ahn, a former Korean U19 and Olympic international, joins Pohang from FC Seoul.

“Pohang has given me another chance,” said Ahn. “I hope I can help the team win the AFC Champions League again and the K-League.”
