Sepahan coach Farhad Kazemi was furious with his charges after their 1-0 defeat at home to Uzbekistan’s Bunyodkor which leaves the Iranians in real danger of not making the knock-out stages.
Timur Kapadze scored the only goal of the game in the first half, but according to Kazemi, Sepahan were fortunate to concede just the one goal.

Al Iittifaq took a huge step towards the last 16 in the Asian Champions League, while Bunyodkor shocked Sepahan to take control of second place.

2008 Asian Champions League semi-finalists Bunyodkor defeated Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittifaq 2-1 in the opening Group D match of the 2009 version of the continential competition.
Anvarjon Soliev was the star for the Uzbek champions grabbing both goals to give the hosts the three points.
